Exhibition, Rake Visningsrom, Trondheim, Norway
The body of work for Grand Intentions was created in Trondheim during the four weeks prior to the exhibition. As a starting point for the process the artist chose to question the heavy demands, the constant strive for perfection and the superficial materialistic idea of idyll that so often surround us today. The works in the exhibition all individually investigate and comment on the concept of expectations - the viewpoint ranging from personal to societal, materialistic to artistic/creative.
Grand Intentions; Gallery entrance structure
Notes on Incompleteness; Wooden shelf, glass, 12 original drawings and 1200 copies free to take
Must Have series / MH60e, MHwht, MH60blk; Aalto stool copies from plywood
